Our name, inspired by the Japanese martial arts concept "FUDOSHIN" - 不動心, translates to "immovable spirit" or "unwavering heart", reflecting our commitment to steadfast focus and resilience in the face of challenges.
"FUDOSHIN" was chosen as our name as well as our guiding principle to symbolise our dedication to continuous improvement, integrity, and excellence in kendo practice. It serves as a reminder of our foundational values and pursuit of the highest standards of the art.
Throughout the years, Fudoshin Kendo Australia has cultivated an inclusive and supportive community for practitioners of all levels.
